The Life Temple

In 2019, compelled by a divine calling to lead people into the abundant life found in Jesus Christ, he founded The Life Temple near Hitech City, Hyderabad (Telangana, India), based on the biblical vision of John 10:10 and Acts 2:42 - devotion to the Apostles’ teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer.

Under his visionary leadership as Senior Pastor and Founder, The Life Temple has grown into a thriving Christ-centered community, welcoming thousands every Sunday through dynamic worship, passionate prayer, biblical preaching, and the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit. The church conducts three weekly Sunday worship services - English Service (8:00 AM–9:30 AM), Telugu Service (10:00 AM–12:30 PM), and Evening Service (6:00 PM–8:00 PM) at Meydan Expo Center (Hitech City, Hyderabad) through which people from diverse backgrounds encounter God and experience life transformation. Through worship services, discipleship, digital ministry, and outreach initiatives, the ministry continues to impact lives across India and internationally.

Dr. Asher Andrew is a gifted worship songwriter and lyricist with a unique revelation to blend psychological and spiritual healing through music. He has penned the messages of God in the form of songs, bringing comfort, restoration, and transformation to countless lives. Having written over 70 Christian songs, including worship anthems like “Antha Na Meluke,” “Nee Krupathishayamu,” and “Ooruko Na Pranama,” his songs continue to bless millions through digital platforms, carrying messages of faith, hope, healing, and worship.

Beyond his pastoral ministry, Dr. Asher Andrew is a distinguished academic and Double Gold Medalist, receiving the highest honors in both his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. in Health Psychology from the University of Hyderabad. As a behavioural scientist, he has many international scientific publications. His academic excellence earned him the privilege of representing India at the World Congress held in Canada in 2018, contributing to international academic dialogue in the field of psychology.

Combining biblical truth with psychological insight, his vision extends toward psychospiritual healing, emotional restoration, and holistic transformation, helping individuals overcome brokenness and experience wholeness, healing, and the fullness of life available through Jesus Christ.

As the Founder and Chairman of the Abundant Life Foundation and Chairman of The Life Temple Medical Services, Dr. Asher Andrew has been involved in compassionate care, psychological support, medical relief, free ambulance services, free funeral services and humanitarian initiatives, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating Christ’s compassion in action.
